Color II - Templates with Color-Aid

 These are templates done with Color-Aid paper for my Color class, Spring 2011 with Professor Slater Tanner. They are basically just color problems I solved with colored paper.

One Color as Two
Both squares are the same color but the color surrounding them makes them appear to be different.

 

Two Colors as One
Even though the inner squares are different, they look almost the same because
of the background that surrounds them. Below are the two inner  squares placed closer together.

Over, Under and On
These templates create interesting illusions with color

Color I-Templates with Paint

From Color class in Spring of 2011 with Prof. Slater-Tanner, These templates were all done in acrylic paint   using only black, white, and primary colors (red, blue and yellow).

Color Wheel

Outer Wheel- Primary colors; Secondary colors mixed by hand

Inner Wheel- Colors Neutralized using Complimentary Color

Grayscale

Gradation from white to black

Tints

Colors mixed with white

Shades

Colors mixed with a medium gray

Self Potrait Series

For my Film Photography II class in high school we needed to team up and do a self portrait series. The pictures are taken with a 35mm SLR camera on black and white chemical developed film.  All pictures below were conceived, developed and edited by me, collaborating with Jessica Lawrence behind the lens.
